Australian Wool Industries Secretariat Inc. (AWIS) serves as the administrative and coordinating body for various organisations within the Australian wool industry. It plays a crucial role in facilitating communication, supporting industry initiatives, and ensuring the smooth operation of its member organisations.
AWIS is responsible for:
Providing administrative support to member organisations
Coordinating industry events, including Wool Week and other special gatherings
Arranging meetings for industry representatives to discuss key issues
Liaising with stakeholders across the wool supply chain
